1. Who we are
ThreadGap ("we", "us") is a content opportunity intelligence tool operated by MKSolutions. You can reach us at contact@threadgap.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email address and password (hashed) when you sign up.
- Usage data — searches you run (subreddits, period, timestamp) and the results we generate.
- Billing data — managed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and debugging.
3. How we use it
- To provide and improve the ThreadGap service.
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts).
- To detect abuse and maintain security.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.
4. Data retention
We keep your search history as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us, which permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.
5. Third-party services
- AWS — hosting and infrastructure (EU/US regions).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Reddit API — public post data (no user data is collected from Reddit).
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@threadgap.com. If you are in the EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you by email for material changes.
